(1.5Mb) A full function free version. Supports Windows 3.1x, 9x, Me, XP. Due to unavoidable problems may not work with some NT/Windows 2000 installations - please try it out. (Note because this product is designed to work with Windows 3.1 it only supports filenames in the old 8.3 format, e.g. creativi.ime)

PLEASE note there is a glitch in the installer - the software installs fine under Windows XP, but the installation programme never closes. When installation has finished you will have to close the blank screen you are left with by clicking the close window cross in the top right hand corner and telling Windows you want to close down the application when it asks you (you may have to do this twice). Apologies for this flaw, but the software is free and is no longer under development.

An excellent accompaniment is the Imagination Engineering book, which puts these creativity techniques and more into practical context.

This software is guiltware. You are welcome to try it freely for 4 weeks. If at the end of that period you want to keep it, please buy at least one  of our bargain priced downloadables - see Instant Downloads. If you don't want to do this, please remove the software at this point.

If you would like to add extra pictures for Random Picture we have two royalty-free packs of 20 pictures in each.

Pack 2 is around 1Mb

and Pack 3 around 1.4 Mb.

You can also add your own pictures to the program directory (by default c:\program files\imeng) These must be Windows bitmaps (.bmp) and will be cropped to 300x300 if they are bigger.
